New Roots Herbal extravirgin coconut oil is pressed from fresh coconuts. They are pressed within 48 hours of being picked from the trees. The fresh meat is placed under pressure and is expeller-pressed instead of by using chemical solvents to yield pure, uncontaminated coconut oil. This gentle and natural pressing yields pure oil with low moisture and 50–57% lauric acid content.
