Green tea consumption dates back more than 4000 years ago in China. Tea use expanded to Japan around the 6th century. Throughout Asia, green tea is an extremely popular beverage and is historically known as a natural remedy for whatever ails you. Today, green tea is consumed extensively throughout Asia and is also becoming more common in the West, where black tea has traditionally been consumed. The species of plant used to make tea is called camellia sinensis.
Medicinal Ingredients: Green tea (Camellia sinensis) (leaves) 2000 mg (20.6 mg caffeine).
Suggested Use: Adults: Drink 1 cup of tea, two times a day. Use 1 tea bag (2 g) per cup (250 ml). Pour boiling water over tea bag. Steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on desired strength.
